This summer the University is bringing you a week of events designed to celebrate, collaborate and connect. You’ve told us you want more for your money in final term and a reason to stick around, so we’ve listened and are bringing you a week of events and activities!


The week will provide opportunities for you to gain key transferable skills, volunteer on real projects and enhance your CV as well as to celebrate your achievements.


The week’s agenda will include:

Global Goals, Local Action -

A chance for students to showcase the creative and innovative Sustainable Development projects they have been involved in this academic year. The event will include a highly regarded keynote speaker and a topical student-staff debate.

Volunteer and enrichment opportunities 

Get involved and earn hours for your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR).

Global Goals Gala 

A carnival inspired festival with giant games, a glitter station and fairground stalls.

If you have been involved in projects this year that support the 17 Global Goals, which include promoting gender equality, reducing inequality and poverty and fighting climate change, this is your opportunity to showcase your work! Please submit a brief proposal


What's the hot topic on campus this year?

Friday's event will feature a debate so we need your vote on the topic and we'll find some experts to get the discussions going. Vote here.
