Well, I can give you some helpful advice on what Manchester Met has to offer in regards to part-time work.
- Student Ambassador
Working as a Student Ambassador is a casual and flexible job that works around your uni commitments. You will be required to help out on Open Days by taking students on tours around the campus, showing off the accommodation and answer both students' and parents questions about the university.
- IT Rover
Provide technical support across the uni. You will need to be a tech enthusiast and love all things technology but you will be provided with adequate training and support throughout your journey. You will be helping fellow students in the areas of software, hard drives and applications.
- Jobs 4 students
Jobs 4 students offer paid on-campus jobs. The best way to find out what's on offer is to join the mailing list. This will mean you will receive notifications of jobs to apply for.
- Career Hub
MMU's website and Careers Hub provides advice on everything from CV's, information on interviews, assessment day and networking.
- Student Union
The SU provides jobs too! This could be getting involved in being a committee member, working in the bar, volunteering or being a part of clubs and societies.
- Residential Advisor
A Residential Advisor (RA) is a second, third year or postgraduate student living in halls. The role of an RA is to offer support to first years students living in halls. To find out more, take a look at the day in the life of one!
